Welcome to Hollywood – where the city never sleeps.
So, you like being famous, huh? Well of course you do! Who doesn’t want fame and admiration; respect and power; you know, all the lovely little perks that come with being famous. Whether you openly admit it or shove it to the back of your mind, everyone would like a little bit of attention every now and then, right? Everyone wants to live the luxurious life of a celebrity, right?
Or do they?
What happens when that little bit of attention becomes too much? You live the life of your favorite or least favorite celebrity. You decide each and every move he or she makes. And for every choice you make, someone is on the other side of the spectrum waiting to catch a glimpse. Someone is waiting for you to fall. Or, that someone is horrid enough to pretend you fell in hopes that you’ll fall even harder.
So…this life isn’t sounding so luxurious after all, is it?
Not to worry. There are still the perks. While every moment of your life may or may not be put in a magazine – however exaggerated or non-exaggerated it may be – there are still the perks of being a celebrity. The fame, the fortune, the glamour, the romance, the respect, the power, and the knowledge that every morning when you wake up you are doing exactly what it is you love to do. Nothing can pay the price of happiness.
